EMPLOYMENT

DUNKELBERG PRODUCTIONS Producer/Writer/Talent/Public Relations
Fort Worth and San Antonio, Texas November 1998-Present

• KLRN-TV – Producer - World War II: In Our Words premiered in September, 2007. In less than a year, I had interviewed around 70 persons and we put their stories into three hours of quality programming to air in conjunction with Ken Burns’ The War. Producer duties included overseeing scheduling, research, acquiring props for set decoration, obtaining clearances for all material, designing DVD labels and voice overs.
• KLRN-TV - Producer - Heroes originally was one of two 15-minute fillers prepared for episodes of Ken Burns’ The War that ran short. I had profiled three Hispanic Medal of Honor recipients from the area. It later was expanded to stand on its own as a full, half-hour show. Production duties included all those listed above for World War II: In Our Words. I had picked this topic and was in production prior to the campaign against The War for a perceived lack of Hispanic presence.
• GreaseBuster Solutions with TriCam Video – Script and Voice Over – GreaseBuster needed a video in less than a week for a sales meeting. Its production company steered it to me for script and voice over. Since then, we have worked together in the same capacity to produce a rollout video for a new product.
• Big Bend 50 Ultra Run – Video and Public Relations – The Big Bend 50 was an ultra race in Big Bend National Park. During the three years it ran, I produced web videos and reports for the race’s website, as well as worked public relations.
• UPN-21/KXTA-TV – Associate Producer - Gimme the Mike!, a local singing competition for the Dallas/Fort Worth area ran for two years in row. As AP, my primary duty was to videotape and interview each of the 20 contestants in their own environment and prepare background pieces to introduce them to the audience. It was a logistical challenge in a short period of time, but all deadlines were met.
• Claymation and US Miss World Pageant – Associate Producer – Pageant contestants participated in several pre-competition events. I prepared video vignettes of the week's activities, as well as profiles of each contestant - all in that week prior to the show. I also served as announcer.
• South Texas Public Broadcasting - Producer-Host – USS Lexington: Always Ready! is the official video of the USS Lexington Museim on the Bay in Corpus Christi, Texas, and the winner of my first Telly Award. The task was to not only give a history of the ship but a tour as well to aid in American with Disabilities Act compliance. Using interviews with crew, file images and shooting on board, we told the story of the Lexington line and the ship's service from World II to the end of the Cold War. Several PBS stations across the nation picked up the program.
• Other clients have included USAA Insurance and Land Rover San Antonio, as well as freelance reporting and special segment producer for KSAT-TV. My work for Land Rover San Antonio won a Telly Finalist award and USAA pieces won local awards too.

I am available for script writing, reporting, documentary production, video editing, some photography, as well as on and off camera talent. I design and manage my websites.

KSAT-TV Television News Reporter/Special Segment Producer, Writer and Talent
San Antonio, Texas November, 1991-December, 1998
San Antonio found out "What's Driving You Crazy?" when I served as a special segment producer, writer and talent to relate viewers' problems and stories. I also served as a general assignments and state legislature news reporter. I provided extensive live coverage (particularly of natural disasters). I also developed enterprise stories and special reports along with daily news coverage.

KIII-TV Television News Reporter
Corpus Christi, Texas October, 1986-November, 1991
My award-winning investigation into fraud at local bingo games and the Boys and Girls Club of Corpus Christi helped bring down a long running scam and provide needed reform. My coverage also included live reports of Hurricane Gilbert in 1988. Otherwise I was concentrating on state politics, military and marine science. I also developed enterprise stories and special reports on a variety of subjects including marine science, environmental affairs, Naval Air Station Corpus Christi and the U.S. Coast Guard. My work included many reports on efforts to revitalize the endangered Kemps Ridley sea turtle and a pro-bono documentary for the Padre Island National Seashore visitor's center.

KEDT-FM Host, Co-Writer & Producer Weekly, Live Radio Variety Show
Corpus Christi, Texas October 1990 - August 1991
Here I gained a lot of live broadcast experience with a little approved moonlighting. I produced, co-wrote and hosted an hour-long, live, radio variety show - "The Reflections Radio Hour".
