Dunkelberg Productions
garners another national award
Bronze Telly Award

The 29th Annual Telly Awards has presented Dunkelberg Productions a Bronze Telly Award for "Worst President Rally" in the Internet Social Issues category.

The video commemorated the "Worst President Rally" held on election eve 2006 in Dallas, Texas. President George Bush was addressing the local faithful. Hundreds of demonstrators gathered outside on the president's home turf to denounce Mr. Bush and his policies. The next day, voters handed the Congress to the Democratic Party, and Democrats swept the Dallas County Courthouse.

Historically, Bronze Telly Award Winners typically have represented about 18 to 25% of the more than 14,000 entrants from the United States and foreign countries. It is second only to the Silver Telly Award.

This is the third Telly Award awarded to one of Lee Dunkelberg's productions. The others include a Silver Telly Award for his documentary USS Lexington: Always Ready! ; the story of the World War II aircraft carrier still serves as the official video of the USS Lexington Museum on the Bay in Corpus Christi, Texas. He also was awarded a Bronze Telly Award in 2004 for Sisterdale Safari VI, a promotional video produced for Land Rover San Antonio.

It is not a history of World War II. It is like being in a family living room, listening to stories of your Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles.” – Lee Dunkelberg
