In 2006, Dan Dodd was running against a longtime Republican incumbent in Texas' 3rd Congressional District. Suddenly, Sam Johnson, a former Vietnam POW, had a military man running against him on an anti-war ticket.

The Dan Dodd for Congress campaign came to me with a script, some ideas and no money. We put together this spot to run on local cable stations.
